Enormous Dryer!

We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio HE Washer a couple of years ago because our washer died. When our dryer finally decided that it had had enough of this life, we wanted to buy the Cabrio dryer that matched our washer. Unfortunately, it could only be ordered and we needed a dryer immediately. Good news, we found this dryer and it was on sale. Bad news, we didn't pay attention to the dimensions. The dryer is HUGE. It makes our washer look like it belongs in a dollhouse. It sticks out so far that it takes up a little of our bedroom doorway (our laundry room is between our bedroom and kitchen). This is completely our fault, I just wanted to make sure that others are aware of the size before purchasing it. That being said, I love my gigantic dryer! We've only had it for a couple of weeks, but I'm pretty happy with it. The large drum allows me to be able to wash and dry tons of laundry in just a few hours, instead of doing small to medium loads all day long. I can even launder king sized blankets, sheets, quilts, etc without having to put them in the dryer over and over again! It's such a time saver! Just a note for short people like me: you will feel like you're going to end up in Narnia when you reach to the back of the dryer to grab your clothes. Don't worry, though. As long as someone knows where you are so they can pull you back out, you should be okay. Now, a couple of negatives. The dryer burned a favorite pair of expensive unmentionables. Somehow, the tag got hung by the lint trap and the dryer absolutely cooked them. I was not happy. It has only happened once so far, so I'm hoping it was a fluke. Also, the lint trap is awesome and easy to clean. However, when placing the lint trap back into the dryer, I did notice lint inside of the space where the trap sits. I cleaned it out as best as I could. I'll probably end up vacuuming it out, just to be safe. Other than those 2 things, I am very very happy that we bought this dryer!

The worst!

It's crazy that I could probably fit in the dryer, its capacity is so large. That said after my move I decided to wash pillows and with just 2 queen size pillows I kept receiving AF (airflow) errors on my new dryer. Not exactly sure why as all air flow ducts appeared clear. I purchased this dryer as I have four children and the laundry can get a little out of hand. With this dryer we can wash larger loads and spend less time washing cloathes and spend more time being a family.

We bought this a few months ago. After a few delivery hiccups, we finally got the one we wanted and have not been disappointed. It is a great washer with many great features. It is surprisingly quiet and holds a lot of laundry. If you are short, you may need a stool to reach items in the bottom of the tub but otherwise it has been a great washer so far.
